Account Management / Customer Service responsibilities

  • Maintain continuous communication between the customer and personnel.
  • Ability to keep a positive attitude with all customers no matter what the request is & know when to reach out to the sales manager for a decision on customer requests that are too complex to handle alone.
  • Input information into company system regarding customer and vendor information (names, phone numbers, addresses, email, etc)
  • Gather and retrieve all necessary paperwork from the customer in order to generate a clear and accurate quotation.
  • Enter in new and repeat orders from the customer.
  • Adjust any necessary releases in the system that may change on a daily or weekly basis from the customer.
  • Create labels for new parts and update any changes for existing labels.
  • Create Engineering Change paperwork that is sent from the customer.
  • Expediting vendors in order to fill customer requests.
  • Ability to ask the right questions in order to problem solve quickly when an issue occurs.
  • Demonstrate the understanding of the manufacturing process and machine requirements to help resolve problems that may occur for the customer. This skill can help with the quotation process or recommend advice to the customer for engineering changes, quality issues, etc.
  • Working on projects or assignments in a team or group environment.
  • Demonstrate the ability to organize and prioritize work and complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • May perform other duties as required and assigned.
  • Must comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines and practices.
  • Assist in preparation for customer visits and audits.
  • Provide written communication as needed.

Skills and specifications

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Platform (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Ability to be highly innovative, creative, proactive and self-driven.
  • Display a high level of attention to detail, along with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work well as a team member.
  • Strong listening and communication skills.
  • Having a sense of urgency for certain assignments.

Education and qualification

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in customer service.

Salary

The salary depends upon the work experience and education level.

  • Salary: $ 45,000.00 - $ 55,000.00 / year
  • Required Dress Code: Business Casual
  • Required Travel: None
